Wii è una console per videogiochi prodotta da Nintendo.

La sua caratteristica più distintiva è il controller senza fili (Wiimote), simile ad un telecomando, che reagisce alle forze vettrici e all’orientamento rispetto allo spazio 3D con sensori di movimento presenti al suo interno, oltretutto tramite un dispositivo ottico posto ad una delle sue estemità più corte interagisce con la barra sensore rendendo possibile il puntamento sullo schermo della TV.

Specifiche tecniche Wii

Nintendo ha diffuso poche informazioni sulle specifiche tecniche della console, comunque grazie a ricerche e analisi tecniche sono state dedotte le principali caratteristiche della macchina sebbene non possano essere considerate ufficiali. L’architettura del Wii deriva da quella del Nintendo GameCube con delle migliorie e si ritiene che la macchina sia circa 1.5/2 volte più potente del GameCube.
